This page is devoted to a series of mini censuses of easily overlooked, but extremely difficult to collect, modern postal history covers.

As Tony Wawrukiewicz relates....  I've really enjoyed seeing the examples of Liberty usages lately and the web sites that are showing them. This represents a great way to put together a census. For instance, when I exhibit, I can say that the Liberty Issue Study Group census has discovered 6 examples of  the 5¢ penalty of July 1958, which have Liberty issue stamps on the  covers, and I have two of the 6 examples in this exhibit....

Everyone is encouraged to respond to other collectors' requests for information and also to request information from other collectors.   If you wish to add one of your covers to an ongoing census just drop me an e-mail (click E-Mail image at the bottom of this page) and send me a description/rating of your cover and  two jpg scans at 100% ... one scan at 100 dpi, the other at 300 dpi.
